Operations Supervisor | Calgary
As Operations Supervisor at Petwin, Umair oversees a team of five maintenance technicians, managing day-to-day operations, tenant requests, building system troubleshooting and repairs, and contractor coordination. He ensures’ cost-effective solutions, verifies contractor work, and supports the property manager and team.
With extensive experience in commercial and residential property maintenance, Umair has led teams across multiple high-rise buildings, focusing on efficiency and tenant satisfaction. He has managed major projects, including HVAC upgrades, boiler replacements, chiller installations, and emergency remediation for floods, fires, and system failures.
Umair holds a Power Engineering diploma from SAIT, an ABSA 4th Class certification, and multiple RECA real estate licenses in Property Management and Residential, Commercial, and Rural trades. He has also completed specialized training in building automation and control systems.
