Kate Hawel serves as Senior Property Accountant at Petwin Properties, where she manages full-cycle accounting for both commercial and residential properties. Her responsibilities include preparing monthly and year-end financial statements, overseeing cash flow, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and managing the Yardi property management system. Kate provides financial insights that support strategic decision-making and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Kate brings over 15 years of accounting experience, including 7 years specializing in property accounting. Since joining Petwin in 2018, she has focused on streamlining reporting processes and strengthening financial controls. Her expertise spans financial analysis, tax compliance, and system optimization, allowing her to manage complex financial operations effectively and support the broader goals of the organization.

Kate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is also a certified Enrolled Agent, authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Her academic and professional background has equipped her with a strong foundation in accounting, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
